Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t I hear my voice on my Bluetooth speaker?

Make sure your speaker or headphones are connected in Settings → Bluetooth before you start monitoring. The app follows the audio route iOS selects. If you use a speaker that only supports media playback, try reconnecting or use headphones for the lowest latency.

Why is there a squealing or echo sound?

That’s acoustic feedback—your mic is hearing the speaker output. Lower Input Gain and Volume Boost, turn on Feedback Suppression, move the phone away from the speaker, or use headphones / a separated Bluetooth speaker.

Why does the app ask for microphone access?

Pro Microphone needs the microphone to capture your voice and play it through your chosen output in real time. Audio is processed on your device for monitoring; see our Privacy Policy for how we handle information.

Why does speech sound slightly delayed?

A small delay is normal—Bluetooth and heavy effects add more latency than wired headphones. For the shortest delay, use wired headphones and keep EQ / echo light when you don’t need them.

The app says no Bluetooth speaker is connected—what should I do?

Pair your speaker or headphones in iOS Settings, then reopen the app and tap the mic again. You can still choose to use the built-in speaker from the prompt if you understand the feedback risk.

Is my voice recorded or uploaded?

The app is built for live monitoring. We don’t use your voice for advertising and we don’t describe a cloud upload path in our standard app experience—see the Privacy Policy for details.
